My love for drawing

"Drawing is not what one sees, but what one can make others see" by Edgar Degas.

I never dreamt or imagined myself drawing one-day, but NEMISA gave me a whole new perspective about drawing.  It unlocked this creative mind that's was locked for many many years. It made me think out of the box, to be creative and Artistic.

I remember on our interview for Interactive Media, we wrote an assessment tasks, to test us whether we qualify or not for this course, and in mind, I'm only thinking about computers, basics of building a website, not drawing. It felt like a  nightmare. I wanted to quit but then I also thought that I wouldn't be here if I didn't qaulify for this course. Yes I don't know how to draw but that doesn't mean I won't learn.

On the first day of the boot camp, we were told that we are going to have many drawing sessions, and I told myself that I will leave this place as an artist who does not give up easily. One thing unique about me, I don't rest until I make it because rest is for the wicked.

Everything that I was tought by my lecture in class, I would redo it on my spare time. I started with the basics, lines, shading and shapes. I didn't only do it because I want to pass or get high marks but I also drew with my heart. My lecture always says that the purpose of drawing is representation.
