My journey towards Digital Media vs my life as an artist.

A wise man once said "our character is what we do when we think no one is looking". I believe that you only get one chance in life, because life is about living. So go big!   " What is cursive writing?" It is rare to find this question, more especially in South Africa because they no longer see the significance of cursive writing. Cursive writing is a style of joined up handwriting, in which the letters are connected to help you write faster. One of the reasons people write in cursive, it's because it's faster than a normal handwriting, because the cursive letters are connected you lift your pen less frequently, which cut down on time spent forming the letters. Beauty and speed? It's a win win. When you look at cursive writing, you won't see anything easy, because the letters have many different styles.   Dreams are stories and images that our minds create while we sleep. They are enduring source of mystery for scientist and psychological docters. Dreaming can help you learn and develop long term memories. For example during exam time students may dream about course content. People in a relationship may dream of their partners.   Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Arts is knowing which ones to keep. Creativity allows us to do some self introspections and to observe the world around us. It's provides us with tools to access creativity and problem solving techniques. Supports learning in following goal personal and social areas. What's phenomenal about creativity is that, it enables us to see the world in a different angle. It brings that artistic creature in you and it sometimes weird in everyone's eyes, but real to you, and some may criticize you for being you and because you know the reason why you're like that you literally don't care. "Drawing is not what one sees, but what one can make others see" by  Edgar Degas. I never dreamt or imagined myself drawing one-day, but NEMISA gave me a whole new perspective about drawing.   It   unlocked this creative mind that's was locked for many many years. It made me think out of the box, to be creative and Artistic. I remember on our interview for Interactive Media, we wrote an assessment tasks, to test us whether we qualify or not for this course, and in mind, I'm only thinking about computers, basics of building a website, not drawing. It felt like a  nightmare. I wanted to quit but then I also thought that I wouldn't be here if I didn't qaulify for this course. Yes I don't know how to draw but that doesn't mean I won't learn.   A wise man once said "Time wait for no man" and that is true. Time is the most precious thing in the world, because it comes once and never come back, thus we have to respect time. There is this famous quote "time is money 💰, funny right? But true at the same time. We all love to say that, but the question is do we respect time? It is a question we all have to ask ourselves, do I respect time?  From my own perspective we don't respect time because if we did we wouldn't say "if only I did this", and that is REGRETS . There's time for everything. Everything that we do must be efficient.   I personally tend to invest my time on things that are inefficient and end up regretting, singing Teddy Pandergrass song "In my time". We always have to manage our time wisely so that we can not feel contrite about it.
